Classic mode gives ten tries to identify the One Piece character of the day. Every name entered comes back as a row of eight cells compared against the answer: gender, affiliation, origin, Devil Fruit, Haki, status, first arc and bounty.
Green means an exact match, orange a partial one. On affiliation, orange links two crews from the same alliance or from the Grand Fleet. On origin, it flags two seas sharing a name, East Blue and North Blue for instance. On Devil Fruit, it means both characters have one, but not of the same type. On Haki, that they share at least one color without having exactly the same set. Orange also appears when there is nothing to compare: a bounty that was never revealed, or a film character, who has no arc in the story. Such a cell carries no arrow.
Two columns also show an arrow. First arc points earlier or later in the story, bounty points higher or lower. Those two markers narrow the field far faster than the colored cells alone.
The pool holds 303 characters, from the Straw Hats to the Emperors, taking in the supporting cast of the major arcs. An optional hint reveals an attribute still unknown, for half the score of the round. The draw happens at midnight Paris time and stays the same for every player until the next day.
Ten. Every guess shows the eight attributes compared against the character of the day, which rules out whole sections of the list within the first few tries.
A partial match: two crews from the same alliance on affiliation, two Blue seas on origin, two Devil Fruits of different types, or at least one Haki color in common. It also shows when there is nothing to compare: a bounty that was never revealed, or a film character, with no arc in the story.
Yes. The draw happens at midnight Paris time, and the answer stays the same for every player until the next day.
